Hey Feral Souls! I’ll be starting a multi-space book club (online and in person) this week. I’d love for you to be a part. We’ll dive into a book that I’ve referenced several times here. I’ll meet with a few folks in my area and turn some of our observations and chats into discussion points here. I’d love it if you’d go through the book and post or comment with your thoughts.
No worries if you still need to get the book (on all formats, including audio); we’re starting slow. This week we’ll cover the preface and chapter one.
I knew from this book's first pages it would be paradigm-shifting for me. I use a red Tombow recycled pencil for highlighting (less impacting on paper than a marker and not the awful chartreuse of highlighters), and when I got to chapter one, Dignity, the preface was full of red. (thus, my silly title for this post)
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
There’s something about processing material through our shared uncovering. The act of holding space for agreement and dissent is something that ultimately serves our openness and love for others.
Thanks for checking out this ‘extra’ post, and use it as your invitation to be a bit extra if you feel like it. Sometimes struggling to live out our worth has led us to shrink, limit or reserve ourselves. So if nothing else, use this email to live into your expansive self.
